The pink tent is back

The pink tent is back for the Easter holidays, which is obviously how I measure the progress of spring. April has been glorious so far and although I know we probably need some rain soon, it is hard not to get swept along when everything is suddenly looking cheerful.

I have been enjoying all the little combinations that only really happen at this time of year – peach daffodils with hyacinths, the camellia at its best, and the wallflowers finally flowering after taking their time. I have also been adding the sort of decorative things that make my partner roll his eyes slightly, which probably means they are exactly right.
