Trying to enjoy every last tulip

I always tell myself I will enjoy tulip season calmly, and every year I end up trying to stretch it out for as long as possible. We have definitely hit peak tulip time in the garden now and I am trying to make the most of every last one before they disappear.

A day out at the Arundel festival was full of inspiration, and back at home the patio has finally had a proper tidy so we can sit out and enjoy it. There has also been plenty of planting, the first signs of peonies returning, and that familiar spring feeling that every part of the garden needs your attention at once.
