Chelsea week, sweet rocket and a full patio

Late May is always the point where the patio starts feeling like a proper room again. The pots are back in place, the outdoor rug is down, and everything starts to look less like recovery from winter and more like a garden you can actually sit in for a while.

I am completely in love with sweet rocket this year, the alliums have been excellent, and a day at Chelsea was exactly the kind of inspiration boost I needed. Back at home I have been pacing around waiting for space to magically appear, keeping up with the sweet peas, and trying to stop myself from bringing home yet more plants.
