Mulch, sweet peas and spring pots everywhere

This was the point where March suddenly started looking properly busy. The borders are only partly mulched, there is a new climbing frame in place for the sweet peas, and the patio has quietly become taken over by spring pots.

I managed to get all the sweet peas I sowed in October planted out, both in the ground and in pots, which always feels like a real turning point. The crocuses are out, the hyacinths are not far behind, and the tulips are pushing through looking reassuringly healthy. Everything still feels a bit on the edge in March, but it is finally moving.
